Anti Foie Gras Campaign
We have a new exciting campaign ahead of us. One that I would like to invite all of you to join.

FVA has started a “Anti Foie Gras Campaign” in the Tampa Bay area. A successful one has already been started in the Sarasota area. We are asking Chefs of certain restaurants to remove foie gras from their menus.
The Chefs of the first four restaurants have received a letter and DVD showing them the cruelty and torture these ducks and geese must endure in order for him/her to offer foie gras on their menu. Christina Tacoronti of The Animal Protection and Rescue League in San Diego has been working with us. She has sent out the first letter and DVD.
Below are the names and address’s of the first four restaurants contacted.
These restaurants consider themselves up scale, but are they ethical? How trendy is a restaurant serving cruelty: birds laying in their own vomit, bleeding to death from the inside and physically bursting?
After an allotted time and if the Chef continues to choose not to remove foie gras from the menu we will notify him that we are going to rally and have a protest demo in front of his/her restaurant. We will give him advance notice and I hope he will see how serious we intend to be.
So to begin....lets send our letters/emails/phone calls to these Chefs! Let us hope they will listen to us with their hearts and choose compassion over greed and disregard for a beautiful living creature that deserves a better life. Let this restaurant know what you think about them supporting the practice and serving of foie gras!
Thank you all so much for your help. If you have any questions or suggestions contact Diane Koon: 813-926-1940
